Today in Worship Jr. we learned:
Weekly Focus: God made me to praise Him.
Bible Story: King David’s heart is so full that he praises God in the streets with singing and instruments. 2 Samuel 6:5, 6:14, Psalm 149:1-5
Follow-up Activity: Talk with your child about their favorite song. Take the time to sing a song with them and remind them that God loves it when we praise Him through songs.
Memory Verse: Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do. Ecclesiastes 4:9
Today in Kids Worship we learned:
Main Point: I will put others first.
Bible Story: Paul and Silas minister to the jailer – Acts 16
Discussion Starter: What did Paul and Silas do to put the needs of others above their own? Was it an easy choice or a hard one? Why? It’s not always easy to put others needs above our own. This week, brainstorm with your child about someone who needs something and help him or her meet that need. This can be as simple as making a card for someone who is lonely or putting a sibling’s desire above their own.
Memory Verse: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Mission Project: We are collecting pencils, stickers, small game items and crayons to take to our Compassion Kids in Dominican Republic.
