Today in Worship Jr. we learned:

Monthly Question: Who loves you? God loves me!

Bible Story: Jesus loves Zacchaeus and spends time with him, even though Zachaeus had done wrong things.

Follow Up Activity: Add colorful Legos to your child’s bath. Encourage your child to separate the different colors into piles on the edge of the tub. Tell your child that God’s love for him is so big and powerful that nothing can separate him from God’s love. Say this month’s memory verse together several times.

Memory Verse: “Nothing can separate us from God’s love” Romans 8:39

Today in Kids Worship we learned:

Main Point: God is our authority, so I will obey!

Bible Story: The story of the Prodigal son – from Luke 15:11-32

Discussion Starter: Teaching children to obey proper authority is an important act in learning to obey God. Tell your child about a time when you didn’t follow instructions of a person in authority. What happened? What could you have done that would have produced a better outcome?

Memory Verse: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
