Perfect Timing

This Sunday, in the Kidz Worship Service, I am planning to share about how one of our Dayspring Kidz made a positive difference that involved her whole school.   A few posts ago, you may remember reading about “Jammies for Japan” and the money that was raised due to the efforts of two friends who wanted to help people on the other side of the world, following the tragedy of last month’s tsunami.  I wanted to work it into this Sunday’s lesson plan, and just decided I would make it a separate announcement, if it didn’t fit with the Key Concept of this week’s curriculum.  But I soon realized God had already lined it up perfectly.  Our Main Point this week is:  A Good Friend Cares For Others!   The content stresses the difference between caring about and caring for people, using the story of The Good Samaritan for a Biblical illustration.  How wonderful that our lesson about putting faith into action is so beautifully demonstrated by one of our own Dayspring Kids!
